Milan contains losses

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is moderately lower, while the rest of Europe is trading around previous levels.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.048. Gold loses a lot of ground, retracing by -0.75% to trade at 2,688.6 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 71.2 dollars per barrel.

The Spread remains unchanged at +123 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.52%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt trades firm at +0.15%, London trades largely sideways, and Paris reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues.

The Milanese stock exchange is trading just below the flatline (-0.57%); similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share comes under sell-off pressure as it retreats to 35,468 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.14%); the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.25%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Banco Bpm's +2.71% surge cheers investors.

Tenaris forges ahead by +2.07%.

Stmicroelectronics is in positive territory with a +2.03% increase.

ERG attracts bids with a +1.92% rise.

Unicredit sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.70% lower.

MPS Bank is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.73%.

Intesa Sanpaolo trades negative, losing -1.53%.

Bper plunges -1.51%.

Lottomatica (+2.00%), Technogym (+1.89%), Carel Industries (+1.76%) and LU-VE Group (+1.69%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Banca Ifis sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.69% lower.

Comer Industries declines by a notable -2.37%.

D'Amico is struggling, -1.65% down.

El.En suffers losses of 1.64%.
