Milan contains losses

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is moderately lower, while the rest of Europe is trading around previous levels.

Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.55%). Gold trades up, advancing to 2,699.6 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.53% so far.

The Spread sees substantial appreciation, rising by 8 basis points to settle at +129 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield is at +3.5%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt lacks momentum, trading with a -0.01% change, London attracts bids with a +0.74% rise, and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant -0.17%.

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.33%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading just below the previous session's levels, at 35,319 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.03%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (-0.09%).

DiaSorin (+2.59%), Terna (+2.12%), Italgas (+1.70%) and Inwit (+1.64%) among the top performers in Milan.

Unicredit sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.68% lower.

MPS Bank suffers losses of 2.64%.

Investors hurry to sell as Banca Popolare Sondrio declines -2.47%.

Intesa Sanpaolo plunges -2.34% on intense selling.

OVS (+3.22%), Ferragamo (+2.65%), Cembre (+2.59%) and Acea (+2.28%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Maire sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.08% lower.

Investors are selling as MFE A records a -2.06% fall.

Reply shows a negative session -2.01% down.

Troubled MFE B falls -1.61%.
