Milan contains losses
(Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is moderately lower, while the rest of Europe is trading around previous levels.A session to forget for EUR / USD, which sheds -2.04%. Investors sell furiously as gold plunges -1.68% to 2,697.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil slides -1.31% to 71.05 dollars per barrel.
The Spread trades slightly higher, adding 2 basis points to reach +126 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +3.67%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.3%, London stands out, progressing +0.95%, and a positive performance for Paris, which advances by a notable +0.8%.
Caution prevails in Milan as the FTSE MIB registers a marginal drop of -0.44%, extending its bearish run of three consecutive declines, which started last Monday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share comes under sell-off pressure as it retreats to 36,415 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (+0.13%); the FTSE Italia Star gains marginally (+0.33%).
