Milan bumbles along while European markets make merry

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milanese stock exchange posts only a marginal rise, while the rest of Europe is clearly bullish. Meanwhile, the New York trading floor is in positive territory with the S&P-500 marking an increase of 0.79%.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.091. Gold is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 2,412.2 dollars per ounce. Oil prices see no significant change, with the Light Sweet Crude Oil settling at 82.85 dollars per barrel, near the previous session's level.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +132 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.8%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt's +1.15% surge cheers investors, London edges higher, showing an increase of 0.36%, and Paris forges ahead by +1.27%.

Piazza Affari ends the session higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,581 points, continuing its run after three consecutive rises, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share ends the day with an increase of +0.77%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap climbs +1.02%, as the FTSE Italia Star posts marginal gains (+0.63%).

Iveco (+2.37%), Moncler (+1.96%), Amplifon (+1.73%) and Stmicroelectronics (+1.67%) among the top performers in Milan.

A2A sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -0.79% lower.

Prysmian trades with a small loss of -0.73%.

Tottering Mediobanca dips -0.7%.

Banca Popolare Sondrio is definitely weaker with a -0.57% decrease.

BFF Bank (+11.35%), SOL (+4.54%), Mondadori (+4.45%) and Ferragamo (+3.63%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

MFE B has the worst performance, closing -3.49% down.

Troubled MFE A falls -3.33%.

Technoprobe is down, with a net loss of 2.00%.

Lottomatica slips just under the flatline with a -1.26% decrease.
