Milan bumbles along while European markets make merry

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milanese stock exchange posts only a marginal rise, while the rest of Europe is clearly bullish.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.089. Gold creeps up +0.33%. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a strong decline (-0.34%) as it touches 78.37 dollars per barrel.

The Spread slips to +130 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.75%.

Among the major European bourses, a positive performance for Frankfurt, which advances by a notable +1.41%, London's +0.76% surge cheers investors, and Paris forges ahead by +1.4%.

The Italian stock market is on the plus side, as the FTSE MIB rises +0.99%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share delivers positive performance, trading +0.93% up over the previous close.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.25%), as the FTSE Italia Star is up +0.82%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Finecobank rockets +5.99%.

Bper is in positive territory with a +2.85% increase.

Stmicroelectronics attracts bids with a +2.83% rise.

MPS Bank is firmly in the black, progressing +2.4%.

Alerion Clean Power (+3.32%), OVS (+3.17%), Carel Industries (+2.56%) and Intercos (+2.45%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

MFE A sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.51% lower.

Troubled MFE B falls -3.25%.

Tottering Buzzi dips -1.24%.

BFF Bank is definitely weaker with a -0.86% decrease.
