Markets weak, but Milan avoids sell-offs

News Image (Teleborsa) - European bourses are trading on a downward note, while Piazza Affari resists the downdraft. On Wall Street, trading remains cautious, with the S&P-500 reporting a +0.15% change.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.2%. Gold is up +0.79% at 2,515.3 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.5%.

The Spread slips to +137 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.55%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.2%, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and Paris totters along with a modest -0.63% decline.

The Milanese stock exchange sees no significant change with the FTSE MIB settling at 33,723 points, near the previous session's levels; similarly, no shame no gain for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it trades flat at 35,836 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.29%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star slips a fraction (-0.34%).

Terna (+1.77%), Enel (+1.76%), ERG (+1.75%) and Snam (+1.69%) among the top performers in Milan.

Brunello Cucinelli sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.86% lower.

Ferrari plunges -2.44%.

Moncler declines by a notable -2.15%.

Tenaris is struggling, -1.96% down.

Anima Holding (+2.83%), Ferretti (+2.72%), Alerion Clean Power (+2.13%) and Acea (+1.97%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

The Italian Sea Group reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -10.23% down.

A black day for Sanlorenzo, which sheds -5.62%.

Technogym suffers losses of 2.65%.

Investors hurry to sell as Technoprobe declines -2.4%.
