Markets on standby. Piazza Affari in good shape

News Image (Teleborsa) - Caution prevails today on the European markets. However, the Milan stock market's performance is excellent, in striking contrast to the rest of Europe. On the US market, the S&P-500 is in fairly positive terrain.

EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.26%. Gold is slightly up at 2,706 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +1.23% to 69.43 dollars per barrel.

The Spread touches +110 basis points, a 3 BPs increase over its previous level, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.18%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is basically unchanged, reporting a scant +0.16% variation, London is modestly up (+0.3%), and Paris records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.42%.

Milan is trading slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,682 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up +0.45% to close at 36,917 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.66%), as FTSE Italia Star puts in a good performance (+0.83%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Saipem forges ahead by +2.61%.

Leonardo is in positive territory with a +2.53% increase.

Generali attracts bids with a +2.11% rise.

Amplifon is firmly in the black, progressing +1.93%.

Stellantis reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -0.65% down.

Snam is modestly down, shedding -0.57%.

Tenaris drifts -0.57% lower.

Hera totters along with a modest -0.52% decline.

Digital Value (+10.94%), Comer Industries (+4.97%), LU-VE Group (+3.49%) and Tinexta (+2.98%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

SOL reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.71% down.

A sluggish day for Cementir, which drops -1.08%.

GVS trades with a small loss of -0.75%.

Tottering Italmobiliare dips -0.74%.
