Markets of the Old Continent are all positive
(Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.
There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.071, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades slightly up at 2,336.2 dollars per ounce. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 82.38 dollars per barrel.
The Spread rises a scant 3 basis points to reach +160 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +4.08%.
Among the European markets, a positive result for Frankfurt, which inches up +0.68%, London is essentially healthy, gaining +0.58%, and Paris contracts moderately by -0.21%.
In Milan, the FTSE MIB registers a fractional gain of +0.49%, interrupting the run of three consecutive declines, which began last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share notches up to 35,552 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.63%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.45%.
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Iveco attracts bids with a +2.84% rise.
Tenaris is firmly in the black, progressing +2.71%.
MPS Bank performs well, growing +2.16%.
Unipol secures a tidy +2.13% gain.
Brunello Cucinelli has the worst performance, with a -2.11% down.
Investors are selling as Terna records a -1.77% fall.
Prysmian is subdued, shedding -1.37%.
Bper falls just below its previous value.
Maire (+3.09%), SOL (+2.57%), Mondadori (+2.53%) and Juventus (+2.20%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Philogen has the worst performance, with a -1.48% down.
OVS is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.14%).
