Markets of the Old Continent are all positive
(Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.
EUR / USD holds its position at 1.074. Gold climbs to 2,344 dollars per ounce, rising +0.76%. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading -0.44% lower.
The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +153 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.96%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt is essentially healthy, gaining +0.57%, London is modestly up (+0.21%), and Paris records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.5%.
The Milanese bourse edges up as the FTSE MIB rises +0.6% to 33,419 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share notches up to 35,616 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is trading just above the flatline (+0.6%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star gains marginally (+0.54%).
Azimut (+1.83%), Prysmian (+1.45%), Bper (+1.14%) and A2A (+1.01%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Mondadori (+5.84%), Technoprobe (+2.29%), MutuiOnline (+1.91%) and Sesa (+1.60%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
SOL has the worst performance, with a -1.26% down.
Marr slips just under the flatline with a -0.66% decrease.
Fincantieri contracts moderately by -0.62%.
