Markets are up, Milan on the sidelines
(Teleborsa) - European bourses are trading on a bullish note, while Milan pauses near previous levels. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 continues to trade in positive territory.
EUR / USD creeps higher, showing a +0.19% rise. Gold has a bad day, ending the session -0.77% lower at 2,659.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +1.02%.
The Spread is firmly up, adding 10 basis points to trade at +117 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.35%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt lacks momentum, trading with a +0.05% change, London is definitely weaker with a -0.29% decrease, and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant +0.01%.
The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 34,905 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 37,137 points, around the previous day's levels.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is practically unchanged (+0.07%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star holds the line (+0.05%).
Iveco (+2.63%), Telecom Italia (+2.57%), MPS Bank (+1.19%) and Azimut (+0.96%) among the top performers in Milan.
Moncler reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.07% down.
Tenaris slips just under the flatline with a -0.97% decrease.
Brunello Cucinelli contracts moderately by -0.85%.
