Markets are up, Milan on the sidelines

News Image (Teleborsa) - European bourses are trading on a bullish note, while Milan pauses near previous levels. On the New York Stock Exchange, the S&P-500 hovers around the flatline.

Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.22%). Gold is just below the flatline as it slips -0.49%. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a strong decline (-2.07%) as it touches 72.04 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +131 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.56%.

Among the European markets, resilient Frankfurt registers a small increase of 0.58%, London advances +0.45%, and Paris edges higher, showing an increase of 0.32%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 33,799 points; similarly, no shame no gain for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it trades flat at 35,941 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.11%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (+0.19%).

Stellantis (+1.58%), Pirelli & C (+1.33%), Iveco (+1.04%) and Telecom Italia (+1.03%) among the top performers in Milan.

DiaSorin has the worst performance, with a -0.96% down.

ENI contracts moderately by -0.58%.

Poste Italiane is subdued, shedding -0.51%.

Digital Value (+2.37%), Reply (+1.90%), SOL (+1.69%) and Ariston Holding (+1.52%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Maire sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.83% lower.

Cembre declines by a notable -1.58%.

Marr is struggling, -1.51% down.

Safilo falls just below its previous value.
