Markets are up, Milan on the sidelines

News Image (Teleborsa) - European bourses are trading on a bullish note, while Milan pauses near previous levels. Wall Street is riding a wave of uncertainty as the S&P-500 posts a timid +0.07% change.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.089. Gold is up +1.5% at 2,407 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly down at 82.06 dollars per barrel.

The Spread between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields decreases, settling at +131 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield at +3.78%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is essentially healthy, gaining +0.56%, London is modestly up (+0.22%), and Paris records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.65%.

Milan's Piazza Affari is essentially stable, with the FTSE MIB trading sideways at 34,344 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading flat at 36,588 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.46%); the FTSE Italia Star lacks direction (+0.16%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Inwit stands out, progressing +3.37%.

A positive performance for Campari, which advances by a notable +2.56%.

Brunello Cucinelli's +1.8% surge cheers investors.

ERG is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +1.35%.

Banco Bpm sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.77% lower.

Bper totters along with a modest -0.95% decline.

A sluggish day for Saipem, which drops -0.9%.

Tenaris trades with a small loss of -0.87%.

MFE B (+9.94%), MFE A (+5.70%), Ariston Holding (+3.77%) and Industrie De Nora (+2.14%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Carel Industries has the worst performance, with a -4.37% down.

Caltagirone suffers losses of 3.17%.

Investors hurry to sell as D'Amico declines -2.45%.

Danieli & C plunges -1.7% on intense selling.
