Investors flock to European equity. Piazza Affari lags behind

News Image (Teleborsa) - The bulls are loose on the major European bourses, but not in Milan, where indices slide into the red. On the New York Stock Exchange, the S&P-500 hovers around the flatline.

EUR / USD is trading negative, having shed -0.99% so far. Gold holds its position at 2,645.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 68.16 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +120 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.25%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt stands out, progressing +0.94%, London essentially treads water (0%), and a sluggish day for Paris, which drops -0.38%.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.26% lower; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share comes under sell-off pressure as it retreats to 35,493 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.44%, as the FTSE Italia Star slips a fraction (-0.24%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, an ebullient Nexi is up +3.85%.

A positive performance for Campari, which advances by a notable +1.94%.

Leonardo performs modestly, showing a moderate +1.37% rise.

Resilient Generali registers a small increase of 1.03%.

Stellantis sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -7.39% lower.

Italgas plunges -2.29% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as ERG records a -2.02% fall.

DiaSorin shows a negative session -1.7% down.

Alerion Clean Power (+2.77%), Ferragamo (+1.81%), Comer Industries (+1.34%) and Carel Industries (+1.06%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Juventus reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.60% down.

Troubled MFE A falls -2.48%.

D'Amico is down, with a net loss of 2.07%.

Moltiply Group is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.86%.
