European markets shine bright

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.088. Gold trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.49% so far. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly in the red as it tumbles -0.64% to trade at 78.14 dollars per barrel.
The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +130 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.76%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt is in good fettle with a +1.31% increase, London performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.53% rise, and Paris is in good shape, advancing +1.16%.
Piazza Affari ends the session higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,615 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share rises to close at 36,865 points, up +1.1% over the previous session.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is moderately up (+0.43%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star closes positive (+0.99%).
MPS Bank (+3.54%), Bper (+3.38%), Unicredit (+3.03%) and Stmicroelectronics (+2.90%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Telecom Italia sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -4.79% lower.
Alerion Clean Power (+3.72%), OVS (+3.48%), Industrie De Nora (+3.29%) and D'Amico (+2.70%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
CIR is struggling, -2.17% down.
Marr suffers losses of 1.67%.
