European markets positive

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.088. Gold trades down -0.28% in a weak session. Light Sweet Crude Oil slumps -0.9% to land at 77.93 dollars per barrel.
The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +129 basis points, down -3 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.74%.
Among the European indices, a positive performance for Frankfurt, which advances by a notable +1.31%, London makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.55%), and Paris's +1.22% surge cheers investors.
The Milanese stock exchange looks bullish, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,519 points; similarly, steady gains for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it reaches 36,776 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.36%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is buoyed by fresh buying, up +1.09%.
Stmicroelectronics (+2.84%), Bper (+2.66%), MPS Bank (+2.48%) and Prysmian (+2.46%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Telecom Italia reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.68% down.
OVS (+3.63%), Alerion Clean Power (+3.05%), Intercos (+2.94%) and Carel Industries (+2.33%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.
MFE A sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.75% lower.
MFE B is struggling, -3.43% down.
CIR slips just under the flatline with a -1.34% decrease.
Buzzi contracts moderately by -1.13%.
