European markets positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe's major markets are trading in positive territory. Piazza Affari is also bullish.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.083. Gold loses a lot of ground, retracing by -0.74% to trade at 2,373.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -1.33% to trade at 82.33 dollars per barrel.

The Spread slips to +137 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.92%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.23% rise, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and stagnant Paris trades to a near stalemate.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB registers a fractional gain of +0.51%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share pushes up to trade at 36,394 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (+0.03%); the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.44%.

Bper (+5.28%), MPS Bank (+3.45%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+2.40%) and Ferrari (+1.99%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Amplifon sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.28% lower.

Investors are selling as DiaSorin records a -2.05% fall.

Brunello Cucinelli shows a negative session -1.61% down.

Troubled Saipem falls -1.51%.

Fincantieri (+5.98%), MFE B (+2.82%), Technoprobe (+2.05%) and MFE A (+1.60%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

GVS sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.93% lower.

Juventus is down, with a net loss of 3.16%.

Philogen is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.44%.

Pharmanutra trades negative, losing -2.35%.
