European markets positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe's major markets are trading in positive territory. Piazza Affari is also bullish.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.082. Gold trades slightly up at 2,364.8 dollars per ounce. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.21%.

The Spread declines to settle at +139 basis points, a reduction of 3 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.95%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, a positive performance for Frankfurt, which advances by a notable +0.76%, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and Paris records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.3%.

Milan is trading slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,183 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up +0.22% to close at 36,405 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades sideways (+0.17%); the FTSE Italia Star is below the flatline, slipping -0.21%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Stmicroelectronics's +2.94% surge cheers investors.

Saipem is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +1.33%.

Finecobank lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 1.30%.

Brunello Cucinelli makes fairly pedestrian progress (+1.08%).

Amplifon has the worst performance, with a -5.08% down.

MPS Bank plunges -2.05% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Banca Popolare Sondrio records a -1.8% fall.

Bper drifts -1.01% lower.

Juventus (+2.26%), El.En (+2.11%), GVS (+1.81%) and MFE B (+1.79%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Moltiply Group reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.48% down.

The Italian Sea Group totters along with a modest -1.19% decline.

A sluggish day for Intercos, which drops -1.14%.

Credem trades with a small loss of -0.94%.
