European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.16%. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.26%. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.94%.

The Spread between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields decreases, settling at +120 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield at +3.45%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt is modestly down, shedding -0.32%, London drifts -0.29% lower, and Paris totters along with a modest -0.25% decline.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.45% lower; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 35,448 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap slips a fraction (-0.28%), as the FTSE Italia Star hovers just below the flatline (-0.32%).

MPS Bank (+3.07%), Brunello Cucinelli (+2.21%), Saipem (+2.15%) and Moncler (+1.86%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Stellantis reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.45% down.

Pirelli & C plunges -4.38%.

Interpump Group suffers losses of 1.50%.

A sluggish day for Ferrari, which drops -1.46%.

Digital Value (+2.82%), El.En (+2.68%), Alerion Clean Power (+2.01%) and Ferragamo (+2.00%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Ariston Holding reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.99% down.

Investors hurry to sell as MFE B declines -3.22%.

LU-VE Group plunges -2.38% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as MFE A records a -2.24% fall.
