European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.087. Gold is just below the flatline as it slips -0.24%. Light Sweet Crude Oil continues to trade sideways, registering a +0.68% change.

The Spread retreats to +123 basis points, a decline of 5 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.66%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt totters along with a modest -0.52% decline, London suffers losses of 0.79%, and investors hurry to sell as Paris declines -0.99%.

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.42%, continuing its run after three consecutive falls, which began last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in retreat at 36,455 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.49%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star descends -0.8%.

Stellantis (+1.75%), Nexi (+0.77%) and Saipem (+0.65%) among the top performers in Milan.

Campari reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.48% down.

Amplifon plunges -2.74% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as ERG records a -2.44% fall.

Stmicroelectronics shows a negative session -1.96% down.

MFE B (+2.40%), Fincantieri (+2.20%), MFE A (+1.14%) and BFF Bank (+0.97%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Juventus has the worst performance, with a -4.90% down.

Troubled SOL falls -2.09%.

Philogen is down, with a net loss of 1.97%.

Acea is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.80%.
