European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.104. Gold is slightly down at 2,646.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is on the plus side, rising +2.04%.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +133 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.48%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt slips just under the flatline with a -0.47% decrease, London edges higher, showing an increase of 0.31%, and Paris contracts moderately by -0.69%.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.52% lower, continuing its run after four consecutive falls, which began last Monday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in retreat at 35,638 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap hovers just below the flatline (-0.5%), as the FTSE Italia Star is below the flatline, slipping -0.48%.

Telecom Italia (+1.30%), Bper (+1.02%), Unicredit (+0.85%) and Banca Popolare Sondrio (+0.68%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Stellantis reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.22% down.

Saipem declines by a notable -3.05%.

Campari is struggling, -2.52% down.

Moncler suffers losses of 2.48%.

Intercos (+1.17%), Lottomatica (+1.13%), Philogen (+1.01%) and Pharmanutra (+0.72%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Ferretti sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.27% lower.

Investors hurry to sell as Technoprobe declines -2.57%.

Ferragamo plunges -2.45% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as MFE B records a -2.09% fall.
