European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.086. Gold trades down -0.29% in a weak session. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of +0.04%.

The Spread is sharply lower at +121 basis points (-7 BPs), while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.67%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is modestly down, shedding -0.48%, London drifts -0.5% lower, and Paris totters along with a modest -0.53% decline.

The Milan stock market looks weak, with the FTSE MIB trading -0.44% lower, extending its bearish run of three consecutive declines, which started last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share comes under sell-off pressure as it retreats to 36,468 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.22%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.37%.

Stellantis leads the FTSE MIB with solid gains, registering +0.9%.

Amplifon sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.12% lower.

A sluggish day for Unipol, which drops -1.46%.

Brunello Cucinelli trades with a small loss of -1.24%.

Tottering Hera dips -1.22%.

Pharmanutra (+1.80%), Ascopiave (+1.42%), Ferragamo (+0.97%) and Maire (+0.80%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Juventus has the worst performance, with a -4.65% down.

Caltagirone trades negative, losing -1.97%.

Philogen is definitely weaker with a -1.48% decrease.

Acea slips just under the flatline with a -1.4% decrease.
