European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.106. Gold is essentially stable at 2,498.4 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly down at 73.28 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +143 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.73%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is modestly down, shedding -0.51%, London drifts -0.23% lower, and Paris totters along with a modest -0.67% decline.

Caution prevails in Milan as the FTSE MIB registers a marginal drop of -0.51%, bringing the four-day rally that began last Tuesday to an abrupt end; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is slightly down, trading just below the flatline at 36,390 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.91%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star trades negative (-0.91%).

On this gloomy day for the Borsa Italiana, not one blue chip achieves a positive performance.

Iveco has the worst performance, with a -2.79% down.

Stellantis is down, with a net loss of 2.23%.

Brunello Cucinelli is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.14%.

Amplifon trades negative, losing -1.92%.

SOL (+1.66%), Anima Holding (+0.60%) and IVS Group (+0.56%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Juventus reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -6.41% down.

Ferretti plunges -3.66%.

Ferragamo declines by a notable -2.87%.

Carel Industries is struggling, -2.56% down.
