European equity closes in the red. Milan also down

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.08%. Gold collapses, trading at 2,405.7 dollars per ounce after losing -1.62%. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -1.62% to trade at 81.48 dollars per barrel.
The Spread remains unchanged at +132 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.77%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt is down, with a net loss of 1.00%, London is definitely weaker with a -0.6% decrease, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.69% decrease.
A day of gloom for the Borsa Italiana as the FTSE MIB drops -0.91%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share finishes in reverse gear, sliding to close at 36,464 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.88%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star ends negative (-0.7%).
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, DiaSorin records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.93%.
Amplifon is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.81%.
Prysmian lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.59%.
Nexi has the worst performance, closing -3.81% down.
Stmicroelectronics is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.98%.
Iveco trades negative, losing -2.77%.
Stellantis plunges -2.22%.
Piovan (+11.38%), Webuild (+2.43%), Fincantieri (+1.48%) and SOL (+0.98%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Brembo reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -4.05% down.
Marr is in free fall, diving -4.01%.
Industrie De Nora drops like a stone, recording a -3.95 percent decline.
Ferragamo declines by a notable -3.66%.
