European close weak. Milan in the red
(Teleborsa) - The Milanese stock exchange closes negative, in line with others European markets. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 jumps +1.79% in a euphoric trading session.EUR / USD holds its position at 1.092. A day of solid gains for gold, which records a +1.53% rise. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades with a fractional gain of 0.97%.
The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +145 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.69%.
Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt advances +0.37%, London is definitely weaker with a -0.27% decrease, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.26% decrease.
Piazza Affari closes on a cautious note, with the FTSE MIB registering a slight loss of -0.28%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share closes on a downbeat note, at 33,836 points, which is just shy of the previous session's levels.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly down (-0.68%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.4%.
Nexi (+1.17%), Generali (+1.12%), A2A (+1.11%) and Interpump Group (+0.60%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Finecobank reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -2.02% down.
Campari declines by a notable -1.87%.
Banco Bpm is struggling, -1.51% down.
Saipem contracts moderately by -1.39%.
GVS (+7.74%), BFF Bank (+1.85%), Cembre (+1.82%) and Philogen (+0.93%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Technoprobe reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -10.54% down.
