European bourses, Milan adrift

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari and the major bourses of the Old Continent sustain heavy losses as Europe's bearish currents take hold.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.093, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,406.3 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading -0.05% lower.

The Spread jumps to +147 basis points, an increase of 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.68%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt is modestly down, shedding -0.69%, London shows a negative session -1.11% down, and troubled Paris falls -1.08%.

The Milanese stock exchange goes into red amid broad selling pressure, with the FTSE MIB witnessing a -1.18% decline; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in reverse gear as it slides to 33,540 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades negative (-1.3%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star declines sharply (-1.51%).

On this gloomy day for the Borsa Italiana, not one blue chip achieves a positive performance.

Finecobank has the worst performance, with a -2.68% down.

Ferrari is down, with a net loss of 2.67%.

Moncler is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.62%.

Stmicroelectronics trades negative, losing -2.57%.

Philogen (+1.40%) and Comer Industries (+0.62%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Industrie De Nora sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -9.57% lower.

OVS suffers a -3.83% decline.

D'Amico plunges -3.23%.

Sanlorenzo declines by a notable -3.14%.
