European bourses, Milan adrift

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari and the major bourses of the Old Continent sustain heavy losses as Europe's bearish currents take hold.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.094, is traded around previous levels. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.57%. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.15%.

The Spread climbs again, settling at +147 basis points, up 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.68%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt suffers losses of 1.00%, investors hurry to sell as London declines -1.13%, and Paris plunges -1.09% on intense selling.

Investors rush to sell in Milan as the stock exchange takes a plunge of -1.52%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -1.49% to trade at 33,438 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades negative (-1.25%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star spirals down (-1.11%).

Interpump Group is Milan's only blue chip to perform significantly well, achieving +0.54%.

Bper reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.98% down.

Investors are selling as Banco Bpm records a -2.94% fall.

Stmicroelectronics shows a negative session -2.94% down.

Troubled Finecobank falls -2.75%.

Comer Industries leads the pack of FTSE Italia mid-caps, obtaining +0.93%.

Industrie De Nora reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -9.43% down.

D'Amico is down, with a net loss of 3.38%.

Tinexta is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 3.06%.

Danieli & C trades negative, losing -2.96%.
