European bourses in the red. Milan comes out bottom

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe's stock markets are trading on the minus side of the ledger, while Milan is weighed down by even heavier losses. Wall Street stocks are also lower.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.106. Investors are skittish as gold slides to 2,479.6 dollars per ounce. A day to forget for Light Sweet Crude Oil as it retraces -4.29% to trade at 70.88 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is at +138 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.64%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.69%), London is modestly down, shedding -0.63%, and Paris drifts -0.59% lower.

A dismal day for the Borsa Italiana as the FTSE MIB declines -1.2%; similarly, a gloomy day for the FTSE Italia All-Share, which is trading at 36,096 points, down -1.12%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is in the red (-1.35%), as the FTSE Italia Star descends -1.25%.

Brunello Cucinelli (+2.84%), Terna (+0.69%) and Ferrari (+0.54%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Saipem reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.77% down.

Iveco collapses (-4.12%).

MPS Bank shows a negative session -3.64% down.

Troubled Stmicroelectronics falls -3.49%.

Credem heads the list of FTSE Italia Mid Cap stocks, gaining +1.56%.

Danieli & C reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -8.48% down.

Comer Industries reels under sharp sell-offs as it declines -4.64%.

Tinexta is down, with a net loss of 3.60%.

D'Amico is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 3.53%.
