European bourses in good shape
(Teleborsa) - The financial markets of the Old Continent record positive end-of-day values. Fresh buying also boosts Piazza Affari, which closes on the same bullish run as the other Euroland bourses. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 continues to trade in positive territory.
EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.082. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of -0.16%. Light Sweet Crude Oil plunges to 67.63 dollars per barrel amid heavy sell-offs, losing -5.79%.
The Spread between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields decreases, settling at +118 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield at +3.48%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.35%, London is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.45%, and Paris rises +0.79% on positive cues.
Piazza Affari closes slightly up as the FTSE MIB posts a fractional gain of +0.69%, continuing its bullish run which began last Thursday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share climbs a notch to 37,151 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.51%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star closes just above the flatline (+0.61%).
DiaSorin (+2.50%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+2.11%), Banco Bpm (+1.71%) and Finecobank (+1.70%) among the top performers in Milan.
Iveco sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -2.74% lower.
ENI is down, with a net loss of 1.62%.
Technogym (+3.22%), Buzzi (+2.77%), Alerion Clean Power (+1.92%) and Pharmanutra (+1.77%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Digital Value has the worst performance, closing -5.04% down.
Ferragamo is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.34%.
Danieli & C trades negative, losing -2.1%.
D'Amico plunges -1.52%.
