European bourses in good shape

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.082. Gold makes timid gains, progressing by +0.37%. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading -0.17% lower.
The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +135 basis points, down -4 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.85%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is essentially healthy, gaining +0.66%, London is modestly up (+0.65%), and Paris's +0.75% surge cheers investors.
In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +0.89%, to 34,167 points; similarly, steady gains for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it reaches 36,396 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.5%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.5%).
Telecom Italia (+4.86%), Saipem (+2.95%), Hera (+1.96%) and Azimut (+1.95%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
Ariston Holding (+2.97%), Ferragamo (+2.75%), Acea (+2.73%) and Webuild (+2.58%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.
Piaggio has the worst performance, with a -4.70% down.
Marr is modestly down, shedding -1.3%.
Credem drifts -1.23% lower.
Maire totters along with a modest -1.03% decline.
