European bourses hold the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major stock markets remain wary. Investors also show caution in Milan, where the market is flatlining. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 trades marginally lower, shedding -0.24%.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.29% so far. Gold trades down -0.24% in a weak session. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +1.16% to 69.96 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +138 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.57%.

Among the European indices, tottering Frankfurt dips -0.2%, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and stagnant Paris trades to a near stalemate.

Milan's Piazza Affari is essentially stable, with the FTSE MIB trading sideways at 33,687 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 35,814 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds previous levels (0%); the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.24%).

A2A (+1.84%), Hera (+1.65%), Ferrari (+1.07%) and Enel (+0.96%) among the top performers in Milan.

Italgas reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.61% down.

Stmicroelectronics is definitely weaker with a -1.46% decrease.

Unipol slips just under the flatline with a -1.44% decrease.

Telecom Italia contracts moderately by -1.42%.

The Italian Sea Group (+3.86%), Pharmanutra (+2.23%), Anima Holding (+1.81%) and Acea (+1.58%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Ferretti sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.42% lower.

Investors hurry to sell as Danieli & C declines -2.38%.

Brembo plunges -2.22% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Ferragamo records a -2.18% fall.
