European bourses hold the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major stock markets remain wary. Investors also show caution in Milan, where the market is flatlining.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.097. Gold is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 2,621.2 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil slides -0.36% to 73.31 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +131 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.54%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.27%, London lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.30%, and Paris makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.26%).

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a +0.02% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 35,881 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds previous levels (+0.12%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star trades sideways (+0.16%).

Stellantis (+1.18%), Recordati (+1.06%), Pirelli & C (+1.06%) and Telecom Italia (+0.99%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Amplifon has the worst performance, with a -0.66% down.

A sluggish day for Unicredit, which drops -0.57%.

Unipol trades with a small loss of -0.55%.

Tottering ENI dips -0.52%.

Ariston Holding (+1.90%), Reply (+1.75%), Digital Value (+1.46%) and Pharmanutra (+1.28%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Maire sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.18% lower.

Safilo plunges -3.17%.

Alerion Clean Power declines by a notable -1.61%.

Anima Holding is definitely weaker with a -1.38% decrease.
