European bourses hold the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major stock markets remain wary. Investors also show caution in Milan, where the market is flatlining.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.089. Gold is essentially stable at 2,736.3 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 71.66 dollars per barrel.

The Spread remains unchanged at +126 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.7%.

Among the major European bourses, lacklustre Frankfurt registers almost no change against the previous trading session, London lacks momentum, trading with a +0.01% change, and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant -0.18%.

The Milanese stock exchange sees no significant change with the FTSE MIB settling at 34,537 points, near the previous session's levels; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 36,606 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds previous levels (+0.09%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star trades sideways (-0.11%).

Banca Popolare Sondrio (+0.64%), Leonardo (+0.64%), Unipol (+0.61%) and Hera (+0.51%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Prysmian has the worst performance, with a -1.10% down.

Stmicroelectronics is subdued, shedding -0.66%.

Finecobank falls just below its previous value.

Ferretti (+4.14%), Alerion Clean Power (+1.70%), Mondadori (+1.45%) and Lottomatica (+1.30%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Sesa sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.39% lower.

Ariston Holding is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.32%).

The Italian Sea Group is modestly down, shedding -1.25%.

Pharmanutra drifts -1.12% lower.
