European bourses flatline. Milan in the red

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milanese stock exchange trades negative, while markets elsewhere in Europe cling to the flatline.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.24% so far. Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.72%). Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -1.29% to trade at 71.43 dollars per barrel.

The Spread retreats slightly to +128 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy BTP 10-year yield stands at +3.67%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is stuck at the previous session's levels, it's a stalemate for London, which is trading around the flatline, and Paris drifts -0.22% lower.

The Milanese stock exchange is trading just below the flatline (-0.61%); similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in retreat at 35,926 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.33%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star slips a fraction (-0.58%).

Pirelli & C (+3.10%), A2A (+1.08%), DiaSorin (+1.06%) and Unipol (+0.92%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Iveco sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.18% lower.

Azimut is down, with a net loss of 2.99%.

Moncler is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.53%.

Stellantis trades negative, losing -2.26%.

Technoprobe (+2.27%), BFF Bank (+1.18%), LU-VE Group (+1.11%) and Caltagirone (+0.98%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Safilo reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.53% down.

D'Amico plunges -3.49%.

Banca Ifis declines by a notable -2.66%.

Ferragamo is struggling, -2.43% down.
