Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.049. Gold holds its position at 2,643.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.61%.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +116 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.4%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt goes nowhere, reporting a +0.13% change, London is basically unchanged, reporting a scant +0.18% variation, and Paris trades firm at +0.05%.

The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 34,305 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 36,502 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades sideways (-0.04%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star lacks direction (+0.06%).

Azimut (+1.71%), Stmicroelectronics (+0.84%), Bper (+0.82%) and ENI (+0.77%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Nexi reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.32% down.

Ferrari falls just below its previous value.

Banco Bpm is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.58%).

Banca Mediolanum is modestly down, shedding -0.52%.

D'Amico (+1.54%), Cementir (+0.73%), Mondadori (+0.70%) and OVS (+0.67%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Comer Industries sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.92% lower.

Safilo drifts -1.41% lower.

Tinexta totters along with a modest -1.33% decline.

A sluggish day for Piaggio, which drops -1.22%.
