Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.07%. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of -0.11%. Light Sweet Crude Oil is largely stable at 76.09 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +144 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.66%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, London makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.23%), and stagnant Paris trades to a near stalemate.

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a +0.01% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading flat at 33,855 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap gains marginally (+0.4%), as the FTSE Italia Star trades moderately higher (+0.2%).

Leonardo (+1.18%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+1.12%), Banca Mediolanum (+1.11%) and Stmicroelectronics (+1.08%) among the top performers in Milan.

Generali reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.30% down.

Italgas is modestly down, shedding -0.78%.

Recordati drifts -0.78% lower.

Mediobanca totters along with a modest -0.58% decline.

CIR (+2.81%), Industrie De Nora (+1.70%), Tinexta (+1.60%) and OVS (+1.34%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

GVS reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.99% down.

A sluggish day for Cementir, which drops -1.29%.

Pharmanutra trades with a small loss of -1.06%.

Tottering Technoprobe dips -1.02%.
