Europe, Milan power ahead
(Teleborsa) - Europe is buoyed by fresh buying, as is the Milan bourse, which posts big gains. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 trades marginally lower, shedding -0.25%.
EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.056. There is no significant change for gold which, at 2,573.9 dollars per ounce, is traded around previous levels. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.35%.
The Spread improves, shedding -4 basis points to settle at +122 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.55%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is in good shape, advancing +1.37%, London edges higher, showing an increase of 0.51%, and Paris stands out, progressing +1.32%.
A day of solid gains in Piazza Affari, with the FTSE MIB rising +1.93%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share surges to end the session at 36,508 points.
