Europe, Milan power ahead

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe is buoyed by fresh buying, as is Piazza Affari, which posts big gains. On the New York Stock Exchange, the S&P-500 hovers around the flatline.

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.055. Gold trades down -0.46% in a weak session. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly bullish (+1.09%), reaching 69.18 dollars per barrel.

The Spread goes down to +122 basis points, shrinking -4 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.57%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt forges ahead by +1.35%, London advances +0.41%, and Paris is in positive territory with a +1.24% increase.

The Milan stock exchange is trading sharply higher as the FTSE MIB gains +1.68%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share surges +1.64% to 36,423 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades positive (+1.16%), as the FTSE Italia Star improves sharply (+1.61%).

MPS Bank (+12.07%), Telecom Italia (+8.06%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+3.43%) and A2A (+2.84%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Iveco reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.70% down.

Tottering DiaSorin dips -1.35%.

Leonardo is definitely weaker with a -0.75% decrease.

Nexi slips just under the flatline with a -0.51% decrease.

Reply (+6.98%), Carel Industries (+5.98%), Ferragamo (+4.92%) and Moltiply Group (+3.57%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Juventus sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.48% lower.

GVS is down, with a net loss of 2.58%.

Fincantieri is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.07%.

Pharmanutra trades negative, losing -1.93%.
