Europe, Milan power ahead

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe is buoyed by fresh buying, as is Piazza Affari, which posts big gains. On the US exchange the S&P-500 moves just above neutral (+0.21%).

EUR / USD is down -0.73%, standing at 1.064. Gold collapses (-2.24%), hitting 2,623.8 dollars per ounce. A day to forget for Light Sweet Crude Oil as it retraces -2.38% to trade at 68.71 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is up at +126 basis points, an increase of 4 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.6%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt forges ahead by +1.43%, London is in positive territory with a +0.79% increase, and Paris attracts bids with a +1.29% rise.

A day of solid gains in Piazza Affari, with the FTSE MIB rising +1.55%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share powers ahead to trade at 36,511 points.

FTSE Italia Mid Cap puts in a good performance (+0.96%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star is up +0.77%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Leonardo rockets +4.29%.

Azimut is firmly in the black, progressing +3.7%.

Prysmian performs well, growing +3.12%.

Bper secures a tidy +2.91% gain.

Moncler reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.58% down.

A sluggish day for ERG, which drops -0.59%.

El.En (+11.61%), Digital Value (+10.07%), Juventus (+7.91%) and Fincantieri (+7.39%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Tinexta reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -13.33% down.

Sanlorenzo dives -4.1%.

Investors are selling as Ferretti records a -3.22% fall.

BFF Bank shows a negative session -2.93% down.
