Euroland bourses contract, Piazza Affari weakest

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is markedly down, while the major European exchanges see only moderate losses. On the US exchange, the S&P-500 is essentially stable with a percentage change of -0.08.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.25%. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +1.29%. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.69%.

The Spread rises to settle at +157 basis points, an increase of 4 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +4.02%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, a positive result for Frankfurt, which inches up +0.3%, London trades with a small loss of -0.55%, and Paris suffers losses of 1.03%.

In Piazza Affari, the FTSE MIB drops -1.06% to settle at a closing price of 33,187 points, extending its bearish run of three consecutive declines, which started last Tuesday; similarly, investors sell as the FTSE Italia All-Share closes down at 35,378 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is practically unchanged (+0.07%); the FTSE Italia Star is moderately up (+0.36%).

Brunello Cucinelli (+3.91%), Saipem (+3.19%), Amplifon (+1.57%) and Interpump Group (+0.88%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Stellantis sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -4.13% lower.

Investors hurry to sell as Campari declines -3.66%.

Recordati plunges -2.54% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Moncler records a -2.16% fall.

CIR (+3.85%), SOL (+2.64%), Maire (+2.62%) and Zignago Vetro (+2.20%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Ferragamo has the worst performance, closing -12.66% down.

Ariston Holding drops like a stone, recording a -4.38 percent decline.

A dramatic session for Alerion Clean Power, which suffers a -4.15% collapse.

Industrie De Nora shows a negative session -2.91% down.
