Euroland bourses contract, Piazza Affari weakest

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is markedly down, while the major European exchanges see only moderate losses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only 0%. Gold trades up, advancing to 2,595.1 dollars per ounce. A slight gain for Light Sweet Crude Oil, showing a rise of 0.46%.

The Spread is at +123 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.6%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is definitely weaker with a -0.3% decrease, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.27% decrease.

Piazza Affari is trading negative, with the FTSE MIB shedding -1.4%; similarly, investors sell as the FTSE Italia All-Share slides to 35,841 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.29%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star declines -0.71%.

Bper (+2.56%), Banco Bpm (+2.29%), MPS Bank (+1.13%) and Banca Popolare Sondrio (+0.73%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Interpump Group has the worst performance, with a -1.54% down.

Investors are selling as Enel records a -1.52% fall.

Amplifon contracts moderately by -1.22%.

Stmicroelectronics is subdued, shedding -1.1%.

Digital Value (+3.36%), SOL (+2.37%), LU-VE Group (+2.31%) and BFF Bank (+2.24%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

GVS has the worst performance, with a -9.66% down.

Juventus shows a negative session -2.7% down.

An ugly performance for D'Amico, which registers a -2.13% loss.

Troubled Intercos falls -1.84%.
