Euroland bourses contract, Piazza Affari weakest

(Teleborsa) - The Milan stock exchange is markedly down, while the major European exchanges see only moderate losses.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.31% so far. Gold is slightly down at 2,602.1 dollars per ounce. Oil prices are essentially stable, with Light Sweet Crude Oil trading sideways at 68.2 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is significantly higher, adding 12 basis points to reach +127 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.62%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt suffers losses of 1.08%, tottering London dips -0.64%, and investors hurry to sell as Paris declines -1.01%.

Piazza Affari is trading negative, with the FTSE MIB shedding -0.99%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is in reverse gear as it slides to 36,163 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.66%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is in the red (-0.96%).

Leonardo (+1.82%), Iveco (+0.95%), Saipem (+0.89%) and Tenaris (+0.85%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Mediobanca reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -6.96% down.

Prysmian plunges -2.9% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Brunello Cucinelli records a -2.53% fall.

Moncler shows a negative session -1.83% down.

Digital Value (+5.26%), Juventus (+2.15%), Ferretti (+1.06%) and Caltagirone (+0.96%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Tinexta has the worst performance, with a -3.76% down.

Troubled BFF Bank falls -2.49%.

Sanlorenzo is down, with a net loss of 2.25%.

Ferragamo is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.25%.
