Dramatic losses in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - A dramatic session at the Borsa Italiana, which shows heavy losses. The other European bourses are sharply down. In the United States, the S&P-500 lacks direction.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.3%. Gold trades slightly up at 2,780.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +1.6%.

The Spread improves, shedding -3 basis points to settle at +126 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.61%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt suffers losses of 0.84%, London is definitely weaker with a -0.52% decrease, and investors hurry to sell as Paris declines -1.04%.

The Milanese stock exchange goes into red amid broad selling pressure, with the FTSE MIB witnessing a -1.06% decline; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.99% to trade at 36,680 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.37%), as the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.66%.

Leonardo is Milan's only blue chip to perform significantly well, achieving +1.28%.

Campari reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -17.34% down.

Prysmian plunges -3.04% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Finecobank records a -2.87% fall.

Amplifon shows a negative session -2.65% down.

Maire (+4.23%), Juventus (+3.14%), Caltagirone (+1.99%) and BFF Bank (+0.98%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Technoprobe reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.15% down.

Troubled Zignago Vetro falls -3%.

The Italian Sea Group is down, with a net loss of 2.41%.

El.En is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.35%.
