Dramatic losses in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - A dramatic session at the Borsa Italiana, which records heavy losses. The other European bourses are sharply down.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.16%. Gold is just below the flatline as it slips -0.25%. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.88%.

The Spread is up at +140 basis points, an increase of 4 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.93%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt suffers losses of 1.11%, London totters along with a modest -0.52% decline, and investors hurry to sell as Paris declines -1.32%.

The Milanese stock exchange goes into red amid broad selling pressure, with the FTSE MIB witnessing a -1.34% decline; similarly, investors sell as the FTSE Italia All-Share slides to 36,109 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap declines -1.19%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is in the red (-1.11%).

ERG is Milan's only blue chip to perform significantly well, achieving +1.27%.

Iveco has the worst performance, with a -4.47% down.

Saipem plunges -2.66% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Stellantis records a -2.59% fall.

Interpump Group shows a negative session -2.24% down.

Caltagirone (+1.87%) and Industrie De Nora (+0.74%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

OVS has the worst performance, with a -6.15% down.

Fincantieri reels under sharp sell-offs as it declines -4.8%.

An ugly performance for GVS, which registers a -3.98% loss.

Troubled MFE B falls -3.53%.
