Dramatic losses in Milan
(Teleborsa) - A dramatic session at the Borsa Italiana, which trades with heavy losses. The other European bourses are sharply down.There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.083, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades up, advancing to 3,122.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly up, rising to 69.19 dollars per barrel.
The Spread steps up to add 2 basis points, reaching +109 BPs, with the BTP 10-year yield at +3.74%.
Among the major European bourses, troubled Frankfurt falls -0.95%, London is down, with a net loss of 0.82%, and Paris is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 0.95%.
A dismal day for the Borsa Italiana as the FTSE MIB declines -1.43%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -1.39% to trade at 40,419 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.9%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star trades negative (-1.17%).
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Terna records a fairly pedestrian increase of +1.01%.
Snam is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.96%.
Italgas lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.91%.
MPS Bank sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.05% lower.
Banco Bpm plunges -3.96%.
Bper nosedives by -3.94%.
Unicredit trades negative, losing -3.18%.
El.En (+1.96%), Technoprobe (+1.46%), Comer Industries (+1.07%) and Garofalo Health Care (+0.79%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.
