Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally
(Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well. Wall Street edges up, with the S&P-500 recording a +0.4% rise.EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.53% so far. Gold is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 2,653.1 dollars per ounce. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 74.15 dollars per barrel.
The Spread declines to settle at +128 basis points, a reduction of 6 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.49%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is essentially healthy, gaining +0.47%, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and Paris's +0.96% surge cheers investors.
In a strong day for the Milan bourse the FTSE MIB gains +1.28%, interrupting the run of four consecutive declines, which began last Monday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share sees an increase of +1.31%.
FTSE Italia Mid Cap puts in a good performance (+1.43%), as the FTSE Italia Star is up +0.76%.
Bper (+4.65%), Recordati (+4.44%), Unicredit (+3.58%) and Saipem (+3.11%) among the top performers in Milan.
Amplifon reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.36% down.
Prysmian is subdued, shedding -0.92%.
Enel falls just below its previous value.
ERG is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.67%).
D'Amico (+5.49%), Juventus (+4.45%), Cementir (+3.34%) and MFE A (+3.04%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Caltagirone reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.34% down.
The Italian Sea Group is struggling, -1.9% down.
