Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.086. Gold creeps up +0.52%. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading +0.09% lower.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +119 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.4%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt performs well, growing +0.84%, London looks composed with modest growth of +0.4%, and Paris secures a tidy +1.24% gain.

The Italian stock market is on the plus side, as the FTSE MIB rises +1.09%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share gains +1.04% over the previous session, trading at 37,192 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.46%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.44%).

Poste Italiane (+3.39%), Azimut (+2.59%), Campari (+2.12%) and Prysmian (+1.66%) among the top performers in Milan.

Digital Value (+9.92%), Philogen (+3.45%), Anima Holding (+2.56%) and Mondadori (+2.07%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Maire reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.81% down.

Intercos suffers losses of 1.53%.

GVS falls just below its previous value.

Carel Industries is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.82%).
