Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.26%. Gold is slightly up at 2,332.4 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly up, rising to 81.98 dollars per barrel.

The Spread improves significantly, decreasing -8 basis points to +149 BPs, with the Italian 10Y BTP yield at +4.06%.

Among the European indices, resilient Frankfurt registers a small increase of 0.34%, London advances +0.29%, and Paris impresses with a +1.55% rise.

At the Borsa Italiana in Milan, the FTSE MIB closes firmly higher (+1.57%), reaching 33,675 points, bouncing back after four consecutive downs since last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share powers ahead to trade at 35,880 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.64%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.34%).

MPS Bank (+5.88%), Bper (+4.62%), Unicredit (+4.03%) and Poste Italiane (+3.03%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Prysmian reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.45% down.

A sluggish day for Amplifon, which drops -1.05%.

DiaSorin trades with a small loss of -0.58%.

Banca Ifis (+4.68%), Fincantieri (+4.19%), OVS (+2.58%) and MutuiOnline (+2.49%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Maire sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.78% lower.

Philogen shows a negative session -1.96% down.

Tottering El.En dips -1.11%.

Reply is definitely weaker with a -0.87% decrease.
