Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally
(Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well.
There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.052, is traded around previous levels. Gold is essentially stable at 2,640 dollars per ounce. A slight gain for Light Sweet Crude Oil, showing a rise of 0.55%.
The Spread jumps to +120 basis points, an increase of 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.25%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.34%), London looks composed with modest growth of +0.44%, and Paris's +0.86% surge cheers investors.
The Milanese stock exchange looks bullish, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 33,826 points, continuing its bullish run of four consecutive gains since last Thursday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share sees an increase of +0.98%.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap climbs +0.74%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.63%.
Amplifon (+1.96%), Moncler (+1.67%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+1.60%) and Banco Bpm (+1.54%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
Terna sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.08% lower.
