Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally
(Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well.
EUR / USD advances with a fractional gain of +0.36%. Gold is essentially stable at 2,663.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading -0.14% lower.
The Spread rises to settle at +131 basis points, an increase of 6 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.74%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt is firmly in the black, progressing +1.14%, London trades firm at +0.17%, and Paris trades largely sideways.
The Milanese stock exchange looks bullish, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,293 points, putting an end to the bearish streak of three consecutive drops since last Monday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share surges above the previous day's levels to trade at 36,396 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is up +1.32%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star climbs +1.14%.
Banco Bpm (+8.43%), Bper (+3.37%), Banca Popolare Sondrio (+3.17%) and DiaSorin (+3.13%) among the top performers in Milan.
Prysmian has the worst performance, with a -2.44% down.
Anima Holding (+9.22%), Digital Value (+4.20%), Cementir (+3.67%) and Tinexta (+2.92%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Philogen reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.46% down.
Tottering Banco di Desio e della Brianza dips -1.36%.
