Borsa Italiana holds the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari remains stagnant, while the major European markets trend higher.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.06%. Gold is essentially stable at 2,501.6 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.83%.

The Spread goes down to +139 basis points, shrinking -4 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.7%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt essentially treads water (+0.13%), London goes nowhere, reporting a -0.15% change, and Paris performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.2% rise.

In Milan, Piazza Affari sees fairly steady trading around previous levels, with the FTSE MIB finishing at 34,321 points, while, instead, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.23% to close at 36,503 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap spirals down (-1.15%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star declines -1.05%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, resilient Tenaris registers a small increase of 1.44%.

Hera advances +1.15%.

Pirelli & C edges higher, showing an increase of 0.62%.

A positive result for Banca Mediolanum, which inches up +0.54%.

Leonardo has the worst performance, closing -7.23% down.

DiaSorin declines by a notable -2.88%.

Telecom Italia is struggling, -1.71% down.

ERG is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.47%).

Ariston Holding (+2.54%), IVS Group (+0.56%), Pharmanutra (+0.55%) and Buzzi (+0.51%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Juventus has the worst performance, closing -15.05% down.

Fincantieri collapses (-5.9%).

Ferretti reels under sharp sell-offs as it declines -5.76%.

Carel Industries suffers losses of 3.45%.
